The Badminton World Federation (BWF) and 12BET have embarked on a partnership that will see the global betting and gaming brand become an official partner of the TOTAL BWF World Championships 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland from 21 to 27 August 2017.

The partnership, negotiated by Infront Sports & Media, a Wanda Sports company, will provide 12BET with product category exclusivity and branding within the arena’s field of play.

Founded in 2007, 12BET has been involved in various sports – amongst others, as sponsor of the Yonex All England Open in 2015, major snooker events, and with various football clubs such as Sevilla FC, Newcastle United, Wigan Athletic, Crystal Palace FC, Leicester City and Arsenal FC.

12BET spokesman Rory Anderson stated that he was delighted to add the TOTAL BWF World Championships to the company’s growing sports sponsorship portfolio: “It is a huge event that will be broadcast in several of our key target markets. All the top players in the world will be taking part. We wish them the best of luck in what promises to be an enthralling event.”

BWF Secretary General Thomas Lund welcomed 12BET as an official partner of BWF’s biggest individual event this year and one that’s guaranteed massive global appeal.
